Principal Architect of a Microsoft Lync 2013 portal for Google Glass with UCMA 4.0 to be used by a 100,000 users to provide real-time presence and messaging capability. UCMA 4.0, WCF and .NET 4.5 

Simpson Gumpertz and Heger, Waltham, MA.  

Senior software developer, DBA and Sharepoint administrator. Handled all aspects of maintaining and customizing a 1 TB farm. Designed an XML language to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces. Implemented processes to formalize software development and quality within the IT department. Introduced new technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, WCF 4.0, C#, peer code reviews, IOS development, and JQuery. Established collaborative software development using Microsoft Teamserver´┐Ż. Established a dedicated software QA lab with formalized QA test procedures. Performed product upgrades from Sharepoint 2007 to Sharepoint 2010 and from Sharepoint 2010 to 2013. Architected a service oriented approach to supplying business data. Developed a suite of high-availability WCF services to supply a variety of business data including Lync presence using UCMA.

Principal Architect of a  suite of class libraries to be used by a legacy pharmaceutical application. Adhered to a rigid set of messaging protocols but designed an agnostic SOA with a REST interface from a WCF service. This would allow JQuery clients to call over HTTP to get business objects. Heavy use of Entity Framework and WCF, .NET FTP, filehelpers and Devexpress.



Sharepoint 2010 main site page UI version 4. The three photos transition every 11 seconds to socialize employees. Lync presence is obtained from a REST wrapper service using UCMA 3.0. The masterpage references JQuery.
